The Natrona County Alcohol Task Force is seeking a local artist to create a logo for the Safe Ride Program.

The Natrona County Safe Ride Program is a free service offered to bar and restaurant patrons within Natrona County who are in need of a safe ride home if they are intoxicated.

The task force is looking for a local artist to create a logo that communicates the purpose of Safe Ride in a clear, effective and fun way.

Artist submissions will be accepted through September 16th, 2019. Please send your submission to rladd@casperwy.gov.

The winner will receive a gift basket from the Natrona County Alcohol Task Force to include gift certificates from multiple participating bars and restaurants. The selected logo will be featured on the Safe Ride website along with all advertisements, products, and promotions for years to come.

The organization, which has been active since 2009, is currently working through a re-branding initiative in an effort to increase awareness and participation of Safe Ride.

Safe Ride is available to Natrona County residents any time of day, every day of the year. To use the program, simply call 307-266-7233. You can also ask your server or bartender for a voucher.

The program will only take users from an establishment to a residence. It will not take users from one establishment to another. The goal is to get you home safe.

Safe Ride is funded through the Natrona County Alcohol Task Force, a 501(3)(C) organization. The task force is made up of local law enforcement agencies along with local bar, restaurant, and taxi services. The mission of the Natrona County Alcohol Task Force is to increase awareness of the dangers and realities of drunk driving and put an end to drunk driving in Natrona County.

The task force meets on a monthly basis to review DUI statistics within Natrona County as well as monitor Safe Ride voucher usage per establishment. The meetings help to facilitate open and honest conversation between law enforcement agencies and bar and restaurant owners in regard to drunk driving concerns and prevention.
