The Support Services Bureau provides supervision, management, and administrative support of multiple Department-wide sections necessary to support and enable effective policing operations. These programs include Career Services, Training, Planning, Fleet, Public Safety Communications Center, Records, Community Justice Program, and Property Evidence.
Additionally, as the Department liaison to the human resources division, the Support Services Bureau Director coordinates recruiting and hiring, including promotional processes, and manages labor relations issues. Finally, the Director provides guidance and direction for strategic communication and engagement operations.
