Full-Scale Emergency Training Exercise Planned for Saturday, Sept. 7 on the Casper College Campus from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
A full-scale emergency training exercise is planned for this Saturday, September 7 on the Casper College campus. It will begin at 9 a.m. and last until approximately 2 p.m. The exercise will take place in and around Liesinger Hall. Access to Liesinger Hall and the immediate area surrounding the building will not be possible during the training exercise. Please avoid this area while the training exercise is in progress.
The training exercise will involve police, fire, medical, and college personnel that will simulate an actual emergency event on campus. This is a training event and not an actual emergency. The college and emergency responders believe that regular training and emergency preparedness are important to the overall safety of our community.
The training exercise is being coordinated by the Natrona County Emergency Management office and the Public Safety Communications Center. If you have any questions about the training exercise, please contact NCEMA at 235-9205.
This is a joint media release from the Natrona County Emergency Management Administration, Casper Police Department, and Casper College.
