Burglary Suspect Arrested

The Casper Police Department has arrested and charged the suspect involved with a spree of burglary crimes in Casper.

On Thursday, July 11, 2019, the Casper Police Department arrested and charged Anthony J. Lippincott of Casper with three felony burglary charges.

Through tireless and professional policing work, Casper Police Officers were able to find corroborating physical evidence and obtain a full confession from Lippincott.

The suspect’s burglary spree began on July 1, 2019, when he burglarized a Casper salon. Over the next several days, he went on to burglarize a real estate office and photography studio.

Upon investigation, officers were able to obtain physical evidence to include the same footwear tread impressions from all three crimes.

On July 10, 2019, the Casper Police Department responded to a shoplifting crime at a store located on CY Avenue. Through video surveillance footage, officers were able to identify Lippincott as the suspect.

Officers were able to match Lippincott’s description to the previous burglary crimes through surveillance footage.

Upon execution of a search warrant, Lippincott was taken into custody. Officers recovered a number of the stolen items that matched the description of items stolen from the previous week and obtained a confession from the suspect.

It is through the help and vigilance of our community along with the committed work of Casper Police Officers that this suspect was arrested and charged for these crimes.

All persons accused of crimes are considered to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This investigation is still on-going as it is believed the suspect may be connected to numerous other burglaries.
